Little Badri misses how happy her life used to be
From the Swat valley her family was forced to flee
She misses her friends, her home and her soft bed
She wonders whose still alive and who is now dead
She misses what was once the most beautiful land
why so much has been destroyed she can't understand
Now in Islamabad she is forced to beg in order to eat
Tears form in her eyes as she walks down the street
Badri breaks the heart of everyone who passes by
As they see this pretty little refugee girl start to cry
What kind of world do we live in when a child only five
Is forced to become a beggar in order to stay alive
