"Unimaginable Grief"

When Mirwais and his two sons went to the masjid to pray
It seemed to them to be just another typical spring day

The whole neighborhood heard the powerful bomb blast
Mirwais's lovely wife's heart started to beat so fast

Frantic with fear she ran to the masjid as fast as she could
and sees what no mother's eyes ever should

The lifeless bodies of her beloved husband and her eldest son
In the rubble, she hears the cries of Arman,her youngest one

His little body bloody and broken she prays for him to survive
As she waits what seems an eternity for help to arrive

That poor mother can't stop the tears coming from her eyes
while she watches helplessly as her son slowly dies

Why would terrorists attack such a sacred place?
There can be no justification for such a disgrace

That someone would attack a masjid is beyond belief
Those still alive are left with unimaginable grief

* This is dedicated to all those poor souls killed or injured in suicide attacks at masjids which sadly is becoming a common occurrence. May those responsible for such cowardly acts burn in hell!
