While that day not a single soul in her defense said a word
They just stood there broken, watching in silence
They just stood there shocked, watching the violence
That this is what their life has become, I'm sure they felt disbelief
As they watched this cruel beating, I'm sure they all felt grief
Now every moment they must fear for their families life
Who will be next their sister, their daughter their wife?
These militant mullahs have again made their barbaric policies clear
