Little Ghani is standing all alone by the river stream
Watching as the sun over the mountains starts to rise
Wondering if peace in his Motherland is only a dream
admiring his beautiful but broken land with his sad eyes
Our land has been called by empires a grave
Yet time and time again they still return
They know our reputation as fearless and brave
Yet thier lesson they never seem to learn
So deep is a Pashtun's love of thier Motherland
To protect the Pashtunkwa all would gladly fight and die
This is something no forighner seems to understand
Though it is something none of them can deny
Sadly it seems this fighting, this suffering will never cease
We must be left alone, alone so we can finally have peace
