The future for our Pashtun girls looks bleak once more
We have gone back in time.......again kor ya gor
Malalai shed's a tear as she misses going to school
She wonders why these mullah's are so cruel
Doomed to being kept from school the rest of her life
Little Malalai wanted to be a doctor not just a wife
It goes against Islam the things these militant mullah's teach
a crime for girls to go to school...such rubbish they preach
Malalai prays every day for the life she once knew
A life in which her dreams she was allowed to pursue
*So many girls now being kept from school.....such a tragedy for the future of Pashtana :(
