"A vow"

That unlucky day American bombs rained down from the sky
and Ghairat Khan witnessed almost his entire family die

It was supposed to been his beloved's sister's wedding day
He had survived only because his car was behind, far away

That this was happening Ghairat couldn't believe his eyes
As he saw the explosions and heard his families awful cries

Of course as usual, the American's said it was all a big mistake
But that make's no difference to one suffering such heartache

What should have been a happy day, now haunts his dreams
Unable to help them, all he hears is the sound of their screams

Ghairat is overcome with such sadness, such unimaginable grief
Only by avenging their deaths does he think he'd find any relief

As he weeps alone at his family's graves one cold, cloudy day
He makes a solemn vow that some how, the Americans will pay

Gardez, Afghanistan - A man mourns at the graves of a wedding party, killed by American bombs by mistake.
