Look closely at this beautiful Pashtana's sad little face
Her own country sent her to this god-forsaken place
How can we Pashtuns possibly look at this sweet child
and in anger not want to go more than a little bit wild
Can you tell me please what was this innocent child's sin
to deserve this status of less than a second class citizen ?
We Pashtun adults are used to being treated in this way
but for our children do we want things to be the same way?
