"Exodus"

Hamid Gul, his wife and daughter
are at their lovely home in Mingora
They don't really want to leave
But they also don't want to die
Hamid Gul and his wife decide to flee
A choice nobody should have to make
Now they have to decide what to take
When her mother tells her that
she is allowed to take only one doll
His little daughter starts to cry
She's way too little to understand
Why she's having to leave her toys behind
and she has a hard time making up her mind
Crying she asks her mor and her plaar
"Why are we leaving ou home?
Where are we all going to live?"
With a few tears in his worried eyes
Hamid Gul hugs her tight as he replies
"We are going so that we will survive
and to keep you, my daughter alive"

Always the children suffer most :(
