"Helpless"

You say you are helpless
You say you can do nothing
I say you should be ashamed
You are not helpless
You can do something
Open your eyes
Look at the orphan
Look at the widow
Look at the poor
Look at the injured
They are the helpless
They can do nothing

You are not helpless
You have the power
the power to make a difference
If only you do something
Open up your heart
Help the orphan
Help the widow
Help the poor
Help the injured
Help yourself
Heal your anguished heart
And Give thanks to Allah
That you are not one of the helpless

"They ask you (O Muhammad) what they should spend in charity. Say: 'Whatever you spend with a good heart, give it to parents, relatives, orphans, the helpless, and travellers in need. Whatever good you do, God is aware of it.'" - The Holy Quran, 2:215
